Totally relevant to what’s going on in my life…

I’m Pregnant

Well… technically Becca is… but more than likely, I had a large part in this whole pregnancy thing. :)

So yeah. I’m going to be a father!

Last week we went to the Dr. for our first OB visit and something life changing happened.

We heard a heart beat.

Now, I say this is life changing, because for first time pregnancies, there are several ways in which things can go wrong (let alone how tough it is for people to actually get pregnant). Unfortunately, as I wrote before, we had one of those complications.

So yeah, getting to the point of being 12+ weeks along and hearing a heart beat (and seeing “it”), was a life changing event. I know that I was holding my breath, waiting for the Dr. to find the heart beat. It was an intense moment that I’ll never forget.

We are both anxious and excited. We’re both convinced we’re ready… but we also know that we have no idea what we’re getting in to.

Rest assured, I have plenty of plans for Legos, robots, etc for this new offspring!
