So I spent the last two weekends in Iowa (:: shudders::) ... first in Cedar Falls andthis past weekend I was in the Quad Cities... had some good times in both places!
Here are some highlights...
Cedar Falls
- Drunken light saber duels... caught on camera
- Crazy time at Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse! I almost balanced the spinning egg...
- Watching Greg sleep in the bed of his truck while he was fully aware of theapproaching thunder storms
- Late night with my boy Mick
- Met up with some FIIIIIINNNEEE (said in a Pablo Francisco voice) ladies at Joker'sand Coconut's
- Watched my girl Tara gradumacate... congratulations babe!
- Dinner at the Roadhouse, courtesy of Tara's parents
Quad Cities
- Found out quite a bit about my friend Misi, the quite a bit equates to a giganticwall of china she has built up around her, in which my attempts to scale that wall wereunsuccesful...
- The above notion forced me to call up Jackie on Thursday night at midnight to haveher pick me up so I wasn't sitting alone without any attention for too long... It wasnice, ended up cuddling and catching up with my best friend... :: smile ::
- Partying it up with the St. Ambrose women! w00t w00t!
- Good eats at The Machine Shed (read: stereotypical Iowa restaraunt, with bigoverhauls and coleslaw to go around)
- Bubble bath party in the hotel (whirlpool suite mixed with Miller Lite and somemusic)...
- I won $80 at the casino playing blackjack.. who knew that 6 out of 12 hands would beblackjacks (8 out of 12 winning hands)..
- Watched my girl Jackie (along with Bucky, Rachel, and Erin) graduate at the Mark!(way too early, speakers sucked)
- Good food and good friends/family at the graduation party! Got to see Mother Theresaand the rest of the Taylors, finally met the Evens' (sp?)...
- Finally caught up and saw Kim and Megan, haven't talked to them sinceChristmas...
So overall I had a wonderful two weekends! Plus I took a few needed days off ofwork... gotta get my mind off the c0d3 every once in a while! Much love to the ladiesthat I saw and took care of me, you are forever loved...
