ok so I lied

:: sigh ::

There’s good reason for my feelings of emptiness. See… I grew up owning every game console I ever wanted on launch day. No, I wasn’t spoiled by my parents, it was my hard work washing dishes at Scotty’s Restaurant and Dairy Bar for $3.50/hour. My sister even text messaged me this morning to check to see if I had gotten one, with my brother checking up on me last night.

And now, with the Xbox 360 out in the wild, I don’t have one, nor would I be able to get one if I really wanted one today…

Hi, my name is Jake, and I’m addicted to videogames.

    Sorry to hear you're down about it bro. However, you should be more angry than sad seeing as how Microsoft provoked this situation by creating an intentional shortage of product.

    (btw, you need a comment button on the main page -- it took me a bit to realize I had to click on the post itself first.)

    As much as I want one...

    It's sad that things like this have to happen: [Boy gets mugged for 360][1]

    I got one, but I had to suffer the cold iowa weather for 11 hours. Unless this thing is fun or I sell it, I don't know if it was truely worth it. Only time will tell.

    How bout a good offer there Jake? :)

    After that free trip to [Deja Vu's (NSFW)][1] the last time you were up...

    I'm bidding the $700 you paid for it.

    :)
